Product Overview
This High Pressure Cryogenic Ball Valve is tailor-made for Class150~Class2500 (PN20~PN420) high pressure and -46℃~-196℃ cryogenic working conditions. Its core adopts a cryogenic special integral forged steel trunnion mounted valve body, and the full series is equipped with GB/ANSI high pressure flanged connection as standard. It realizes on-off control of high pressure cryogenic medium through 90° rotation of the ball.
Fully optimized for the dual harsh conditions of high pressure and cryogenic from material, structure to sealing, it strictly complies with global cryogenic high pressure valve industrial standards including API 6D, BS 6364 and ASME B16.34. It is a special core control equipment for liquefied natural gas (LNG), air separation units, hydrogen energy storage and transportation, cryogenic chemical industry and other scenarios.
Available in full sizes DN15–DN400 (NPS 1/2″–16″), it can be adapted to manual, worm gear, pneumatic and electric operation modes, and is widely used in various transmission and control systems of high pressure cryogenic liquefied media.

Exclusive Forged Steel Valve Body for High Pressure & Cryogenic Conditions
All core pressure-bearing parts such as valve body and bonnet are integrally formed from cryogenic special forged steel including ASTM A350 LF2 low temperature carbon steel, F304/F316L austenitic stainless steel, completely avoiding the risk of cold brittle fracture of ordinary materials at low temperature. All pressure-bearing parts are subject to -196℃ cryogenic treatment before finishing to eliminate residual internal stress, ensuring dimensional stability and no jamming under cryogenic conditions.
The valve body has a wall thickness redundancy reinforced design according to the maximum pressure rating of Class2500 (PN420), and 100% passed ultrasonic flaw detection, low temperature hydraulic pressure test and air tightness test. The full range from DN15 to DN400 uniformly adopts trunnion mounted double seat structure, ensuring constant and stable opening and closing torque under high pressure and cryogenic conditions.

Special Sealing System for Cryogenic Conditions, Bidirectional Zero Leakage Under High Pressure
Special sealing optimization for high pressure and cryogenic working conditions, with two sealing options:
Soft seal type: Adopts cryogenic special PCTFE, reinforced PTFE valve seat with built-in Inconel alloy disc spring constant pressure preload structure, which can compensate the cold shrinkage of materials in real time, achieving ANSI B16.104 Class VI bidirectional zero leakage even under -196℃ cryogenic and Class1500 high pressure conditions;
Metal hard seal type: The sealing surface is overlaid with Stellite hard alloy/tungsten carbide, with surface hardness up to HRC45-65, resistant to high pressure erosion and low temperature deformation, full pressure coverage from Class150 to Class2500 maximum grade, suitable for ultra-low temperature harsh conditions such as -253℃ liquid hydrogen.
Standard equipped with body cavity automatic pressure relief structure, which can automatically discharge the abnormal overpressure caused by the vaporization of the cryogenic medium retained in the valve cavity, completely avoiding the risk of valve cavity burst caused by the vaporization of cryogenic liquid, fully complying with BS 6364 standard.
-
Extended Cryogenic Bonnet Design, Ensuring Long-Term Stable Sealing
The full series is equipped with a special long neck cryogenic bonnet as standard, which completely isolates the stuffing box from the cryogenic cavity through the extended stem structure, ensuring that the working temperature of the packing is stable above 0℃, avoiding the loss of elasticity of the packing due to low temperature hardening. The extended length of the bonnet can be customized according to the medium temperature and on-site cold insulation layer thickness, and is equipped with an isolation drip tray to prevent condensed water from penetrating into the cold insulation layer. The stem adopts a bottom-mounted T-type blow-out proof structure with low emission packing special for cryogenic conditions.
-
Standard High Pressure Flanged Connection, Easy Installation & Maintenance
The full series only adopts GB/ANSI high pressure flanged connection, the flange dimensions are 100% in line with GB/T 9113 and ASME B16.5 high pressure standards. RF raised face is standard for Class150~Class600, RTJ ring joint face is standard for Class900~Class2500 ultra-high pressure working conditions. It can be directly seamlessly connected with the same standard high pressure pipeline, with reliable sealing and convenient disassembly and assembly. Optional top-entry design allows online replacement of valve internals without removing the pipeline.
-
Multiple Safety Structures, Stable & Durable for Whole Life Cycle
The full series is equipped with exclusive safety protection for high pressure and cryogenic working conditions: anti-static structure between ball-stem-valve body with loop resistance <10Ω, which can quickly export static electricity and avoid explosion risk in flammable and explosive cryogenic medium conditions; complies with API 607 fire-safe standard, realizing metal-to-metal emergency sealing under fire conditions; high pressure emergency grease injection ports are set at the valve seat and stem for emergency online sealing; streamlined flow channel design without dead angle, no medium retention, no jamming after frequent opening and closing.
