This Wafer Ball Valve Stainless Steel (Model Q71F) is a compact pipeline on-off control valve with ultra-thin wafer type valve body as the core structure and 304/316/316L food-grade stainless steel as the main body material. The valve body adopts an integrated ultra-thin design, which can be directly clamped between two standard flanges without additional welding or long installation space reserved. Relying on the excellent rust resistance, corrosion resistance, sanitary and environmental protection performance of stainless steel, it has the core advantages of reliable sealing, light opening and closing, compact structure and convenient installation and maintenance.
Available in full sizes DN15–DN200 (NPS 1/2″–8″), it strictly complies with domestic and international general valve standards including MSS SP-72, GB/T 12237, ASME B16.34 and API 6D. Widely used in water supply and drainage, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, marine, HVAC, water treatment and other pipeline scenarios with limited installation space and anti-corrosion and sanitary requirements.

- Core Wafer Type Ultra-Thin Structure, Space Saving & Easy Installation
The valve body adopts an integrated ultra-thin forging/precision casting structure, the overall length is only 1/3-1/2 of the same diameter flanged ball valve, which greatly reduces the axial installation space, and is perfectly suitable for scenarios where conventional flanged ball valves cannot be installed, such as narrow spaces, dense pipelines, and built-in equipment. The two ends of the valve body are equipped with flange positioning spigots, which can be accurately clamped between two standard flanges. During installation, only need to fasten the bolts diagonally to complete the fixation, no need to disassemble the pipelines at both ends, and can be disassembled and assembled by a single person, which greatly reduces the on-site construction and later maintenance costs. The end face of the valve body is ground with high-precision plane, and the fit degree with the flange gasket is ≥98%, which eliminates external leakage from the end face, and is compatible with the world’s mainstream standard flanges such as GB, ANSI, JIS, with strong versatility.

All wetted parts such as valve body, ball and stem are integrally precision formed from 304(CF8), 316(CF8M), 316L(CF3M) food-grade stainless steel, with dense material without sand holes and blowholes, and has excellent rust resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and chloride ion corrosion resistance. No heavy metal precipitation, no harmful substance release, fully complying with GB 5749 drinking water sanitary standard and FDA food-grade certification requirements, perfectly suitable for drinking water, food and pharmaceutical, corrosive medium working conditions, and the service life is much longer than valves made of ordinary materials such as cast iron, carbon steel and brass. Duplex steel material can be customized for highly corrosive chemical working conditions.
- Floating Ball Soft Seal Structure, Bidirectional Zero Leakage & Smooth Operation
Adopting floating ball self-tightening sealing design, the higher the medium pressure, the tighter the fit between the ball and the valve seat, the stronger the sealing performance. Standard equipped with food-grade PTFE/RPTFE/PPL wear-resistant valve seat, paired with stainless steel ball by high-precision mirror grinding, the sealing grade reaches ANSI B16.104 Class VI bidirectional zero leakage, with small opening and closing torque and smooth operation, suitable for frequent opening and closing scenarios. The valve seat adopts embedded anti-ejection design, no displacement and no deformation under high pressure working conditions, eliminating the hidden danger of internal leakage.
- Full Bore Design with Low Flow Resistance, High Circulation Efficiency
Standard full bore flow channel, the inner wall is mirror polished, with extremely low flow resistance coefficient, no medium retention dead angle, no scaling and no blockage, which can adapt to the working conditions of media containing a small amount of particles and fibers, and greatly reduce the energy consumption of pipeline transmission. Reduced bore type is optional, which further reduces the opening and closing torque, and is suitable for the installation requirements of low torque actuators.

Standard equipped with bottom-mounted T-type blow-out proof stem and anti-static structure, eliminating potential safety hazards such as stem ejection and electrostatic explosion. The handle is designed with 90° precise limit and lock hole, which can be equipped with a lock to prevent misoperation, and the switch status is visualized. Worm gear drive mechanism is standard for large diameters above DN100, which greatly reduces the operating force and can be easily opened and closed by a single person. It reserves ISO 5211 standard mounting pad, which can be directly matched with pneumatic/electric actuators to realize automatic remote control.
