The self-operated pressure regulating valve is an automatic control valve that does not require external driving energy such as power supply or compressed air, and completely relies on the pressure of the regulated medium itself as the power source. Working Principle
This self-operated pressure regulating valve operates through the linkage of the pressure sensing actuator and the valve body regulating mechanism, and its core is to automatically adjust the valve opening driven by the pressure change of the regulated medium. For the downstream pressure reduction type, the medium pressure acts on the diaphragm actuator: when the outlet pressure exceeds the set value, the diaphragm is stressed to push the valve stem upward, narrow the valve core opening, reduce the medium output flow, and thus drop the outlet pressure back to the set range; when the outlet pressure is lower than the set value, the stress on the diaphragm decreases, the valve stem drives the valve core downward, widen the valve opening, increase the medium output flow, and lift the outlet pressure back to the standard value.
For the upstream pressure stabilization type, it automatically adjusts the valve opening by sensing the medium pressure at the inlet end to keep the inlet pressure constant. The entire regulation process runs in a fully automatic closed loop without manual intervention, featuring high pressure regulation accuracy and fast response speed, and can continuously and stably maintain the pipeline pressure within the set parameter range.
