This Bi-directional Metal Sealed Butterfly Valve is an industrial-grade special valve with forward and reverse equal pressure metal hard seal as the core and 3D triple offset friction-free structure as the foundation. Different from conventional one-way seal butterfly valves, this product is tailor-made for bidirectional flow and bidirectional pressure bearing conditions. It adopts a symmetrical elastic metal seat matched with metal disc for sealing, realizing full pressure grade zero leakage in both forward and reverse directions, which completely solves the industry pain points of conventional butterfly valves such as easy leakage and seal failure under reverse pressure.

Fully focused on the core design of bi-directional sealing, it solves the one-way sealing limitation of conventional butterfly valves from the structural root:
- Adopting symmetrical bi-directional elastic metal seat structure, different from ordinary one-way seal seats, no matter the medium flows from forward or reverse direction, the medium pressure can push the seat to closely fit the disc sealing surface, realizing bi-directional self-energized sealing — the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal. The forward and reverse pressure bearing capacity is completely consistent, both can reach the full nominal pressure grade, no one-way pressure bearing short board;
- The metal seal pair adopts plasma spray welding Stellite hard alloy, supersonic spraying tungsten carbide process. Both forward and reverse sealing surfaces are precisely ground and paired, with surface hardness up to HRC40-65, excellent high temperature resistance, erosion resistance, anti-seizure and particle wear resistance. Perfectly suitable for severe wear conditions such as high temperature steam and media containing solid particles, the synchronous wear resistance of bi-directional sealing surfaces makes the service life more than 6 times that of ordinary one-way seal butterfly valves;
- The bi-directional sealing performance reaches ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class V zero leakage, which can automatically compensate for thermal expansion and contraction under high and low temperature working conditions, avoiding high temperature jamming and forward & reverse seal failure. It completely solves the industry pain points of conventional butterfly valves such as reverse pressure leakage and inability to adapt to bidirectional flow pipelines.

3D Triple Offset Friction-Free Structure, Low Torque Operation & Long Cycle Life
Optimized 3D triple offset design (shaft eccentricity, disc eccentricity, sealing cone eccentricity) ensures the metal seat and disc sealing surface only contact at the moment of full closing, and completely separate after opening, no sliding friction during the whole stroke. It completely avoids wear of the bi-directional sealing surfaces caused by frequent opening and closing, with operating torque over 60% lower than ordinary concentric butterfly valves, and cycle life more than 10,000 times, ideal for frequent operation and bidirectional flow switching conditions.
